Dr. Kong Jianping, Founder of Nano Labs Ltd. (NASDAQ: NA) and Board Member of Hong Kong Cyberport, recently hosted a delegation led by Mr. Yuan Jian, Secretary of the CPC Keqiao District Committee of Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, during their visit to Hong Kong Cyberport.

During the visit, Dr. Kong provided Secretary Yuan with a detailed overview of Cyberport’s development and positioning. As Hong Kong’s digital technology flagship and startup incubator, Cyberport is home to over 2,200 community companies, including more than 900 on-campus enterprises and nearly 1,300 off-campus startups and technology firms. Cyberport is wholly owned by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and operated by Hong Kong Cyberport Management Company Limited. It is committed to becoming a leading regional digital technology hub and injecting new momentum into Hong Kong’s economy.

Secretary Yuan and his delegation toured the Cyberport campus and gained in-depth insights into the business development of key resident companies, including prominent fintech enterprises such as ZA Bank and HashKey. The visit not only strengthened exchanges between Mainland China and Hong Kong in the digital economy sector but also laid a solid foundation for future cooperation between Zhejiang and Hong Kong.

Recently, Dr. Kong Jianping, Founder of Nano Labs and Board Member of Hong Kong Cyberport, attended the grand opening of Cyberport’s newly launched Digital Technology Experience Centre. Officially open to enterprises and the general public, the Experience Centre aims to showcase cutting-edge digital technologies—such as Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, and Web 3.0—and to promote their broad application across Hong Kong’s innovation landscape.

The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr. Tony Wong, Government Chief Digital Officer of the HKSAR Government. He stated, “The Digital Technology Experience Centre marks another significant milestone in Cyberport’s mission to promote technology adoption. On one hand, it provides a platform for startups to showcase their innovative achievements and foster a vibrant innovation ecosystem; on the other, it enables SMEs to engage with interactive exhibits and explore how digital technologies can be integrated into business operations, thereby enhancing operational efficiency and competitiveness—contributing meaningfully to the development of Hong Kong’s digital economy.”

Dr. George Lam, Chairman of Cyberport, emphasized during the ceremony: “The Digital Technology Experience Centre serves as a key platform for showcasing innovative solutions within Hong Kong’s I&T ecosystem. It aims to raise public awareness of local innovation and technology developments. Through this platform, Cyberport community enterprises can demonstrate their cutting-edge technologies, which in turn supports the growth and vitality of the broader innovation ecosystem.”

As a prominent figure in Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem, Dr. Kong Jianping expressed strong appreciation for the significance of the event. The open day event featured a variety of innovative solutions, including Infinium Technology’s AI Personal Health Assistant, CertiK’s Skynet Ranking, and Garlic Technology’s Cognitive Training Platform. In total, 17 Cyberport community enterprises showcased innovations spanning smart healthcare, blockchain security, AI-driven wellness solutions, and more. The initiative fostered industry dialogue and collaboration, furthering the widespread adoption of digital technology across Hong Kong.

Throughout the event, Dr. Kong engaged in in-depth discussions with numerous startups and industry representatives, exploring the critical role of AI and data science in driving future industrial transformation. He noted that “Nano Labs is committed to building high-performance computing infrastructure that empowers the convergence of Web3 ecosystems and AI-driven applications. We look forward to deeper collaboration with local Hong Kong tech players in this journey.”
